Three levels to check#
Enable the Notification OBS master button, your source profile and the selected event’s Show popup. The source indicator reflects only that profile, not the master switch or connection.
Customize the alert#
Choose source → event type. Set the design, message, image and sound; save. Replay effect tests only the look; Run preview tests the queue, picture and sound. Chime and speech have separate volume controls.
Sequential or overlapping#
Use Sequential to queue alerts or Allow overlap to show them together. Display duration controls the visual hold; speech and a linked wheel may keep that queued item active longer.
If preview has no sound#
Check speech, voice and volume on the selected event. Wait for AI Vocal to be ready. Preview sound plays in Studio, not OBS; check your browser sound first. For real alerts, check OBS audio routing.
Donation received, but no alert#
Check the master switch first: previews can run while the master is off. Then check the source, event, matching OBS link and queue. History and timer can still update when alerts are disabled.
YouTube member milestones#
In Notification → YouTube, enable the membership milestone popup and optional speech. Member for N months includes tenure, tier and a comment if present. It does not count as a new payment or add timer time.
